Tarangire or Lake Manyara & Ngorongoro Crater
A 2-day budget camping safari in Tanzania can provide an affordable yet memorable wildlife adventure. While it’s a short duration, you can still experience the beauty of Tanzania’s national parks and get a glimpse of its diverse wildlife. This safari will take you to two of the most famous national parks in Northern Tanzania, Tarangire or Lake Manyara National Park and Ngorongoro Crater.
TOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1: TARANGIRE OR LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
You will be picked up in Arusha by your guide who will brief you on your safari. You will then get transferred to Tarangire or Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. Tarangire National Park is known for its large herds of Elephants and Baobab trees whilst Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions. After your game drive you will be transferred to a campsite in Karatu where you will stay overnight.
DAY 2: NGORONGORO CRATER
After an early breakfast you will head to Ngorongoro Crater for your final game drive. You will descend 600m into the spectacular crater full of wildlife and home to the Big 5. After your game drive you will enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater. After lunch you will start to get your way back to Arusha where our safari program will come to an end.
