Our 6 Days Cultural Safari Package is perfect for those who want to combine a cultural experience with the Maasai and Hadzabe tribes with a safari in Tanzania. This package will take you to a few of the best national parks in Northern Tanzania. You will be able to observe incredible wildlife and see breathtaking landscapes when you visit this superb combination of national parks. You will get the chance to interact with the Maasai people, learning about their culture and way of life. You will also meet the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Tanzania where you will be joining them on a hunting expedition.

TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: arrival in arusha

You will be picked up at Kilimanjaro International Airport and get transferred to Africa Maasai Life Lodge for your overnight stay. Rest up for the upcoming cultural journey.

DAY 2: Africa amini life

Spend the day engaging in various cultural activities with the Maasai community. You will learn about their traditional customs, lifestyles, and rituals. Overnight at Africa Amini Life.

DAY 3: tarangire NATIONAL PARK

Enjoy your breakfast at Amini Maasai Lodge and bid farewell to the Maasai community. You will depart for the first national park in the Northern Circuit, Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is famous for its large herds of Elephants and the abundance of Baobab trees. You will enjoy a game drive in the park and in the afternoon you will be transferred to the lodge in Karatu where you will stay overnight.

DAY 4: lake manyara NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions. This park is one of the smallest national parks but most diverse. You will enjoy a picnic lunch at the park and after your game drive you will be transferred back to your lodge in Karatu where you will stay overnight.

DAY 5: NGORONGORO CRATER

After an early breakfast you will head to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. You will descend 600m into the spectacular crater full of wildlife and home to the Big 5. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater and in the afternoon you will make your way towards Lake Eyasi where you will stay overnight.

DAY 6: HADZABE TRIBE – DEPARTURE

On this day you will meet the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Tanzania. You will be spending time with them and learning about their culture. You will also get the chance to join them on a hunting expedition or gathering activities. After lunch time you will be transferred to Arusha for your onward journey or departure from Kilimanjaro International Airport where our safari program will come to an end.

Note: This itinerary can be customized based on your preferences, budget, and the time you have available. You may choose to extend your stay at Arusha after the trip or add visits to other national parks in your itinerary.
